Hey, just after some advice. Has anyone fitted their water cooling radiator to the top of this case before? I'm looking at this product - SILENT LOOP 2 | 360mm silent Water coolers from be quiet! to go in this case - Define R6 USB-C Tempered Glass — Fractal Design (fractal-design.com)

The case spec says:
  • Top radiator
Standard layout: 120/240/360 mm (max 35 mm motherboard component height); Open layout: 120/240/360 mm, 140/280/420 mm (max 35 mm motherboard component height)
be quiet! list the spec of the 360mm radiator as 360mm x 27mm but with an overall dimension of 394mm x 52mm (with fans etc).

As the case manufacturer specifically says "radiator" will I therefore be OK as 360mm x 27mm falls within their spec?

Cheers. :)

I fitted a 240 Arctic Liquid Freezer II into this case for my Dad's build. It was built in the Define R6, just like the above. That cooler is thicker than the Silent Loop 2, the Radiator alone is 38mm, I think it's 53-55 overall.

From what I understand the 35mm number only applies to 140mm wide parts, as they will interfear with the motherboard, but does include the fans. 120mm wide parts can usually overhang the Motherboard a little, most ATX boards don't push the RAM that far up. The 360 be quiet cooler should work, the only compromise might be in having to mount it a little further forward and sacrifice an optical drive slot; especially if you have a thick IO shield heat sync.

I was able to get the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240mm and an optical drive in without any issues.
