Hi guys and gals

recently bought this case to house my new build, came to connect the front panel cables and am at a loss if the LED is meant to blink with HDD activity or be a constant blue light (went for black perl). The leads that come from the front that will connect to the mobo are as follows:

Power SW
Power SW
PowerLED+
PowerLED-

+ other SATA and Audio connectors.

That's correct two different leads that have Power SW on them.

Your input on this would be great, many thanks.

None of the led's there should blink unless one of the POWERSW are acting as HDLED and are connected to the HD LED motherboard header. Strange that they are not labled as such.

You should have the following:

Power SW
Power LED
Reset SW
HD LED

If you only have one LED cable from your case and you want it to blink to indicate HD activity then use the power LED and place that on the HD LED on the motherboard header.

I have just turn it off and put the 2nd Power SW on the power sw header on the mobo and it will not start the PC up. So its defo not connected to anything press to make. the LED blink from PLED works well though thanks for that Webbo.

EDIT: Just pulled the front bezzle/plastic off and it goes to the discrete reset switch that i had totally not seen by the top fan bay /palm /face, they probably run out of Reset SW connector plastics at the factory, this means i have a limitied edition R3 :P £300 anyone /laugh.

The power sw (power switch) header turns the pc on m8. You won't get LED's from that.

If you can, see what header goes to the leds on the front of the case and then use connect those to HD LED and Power LED headers on the motherboard.

/bonk Even I know that m8ty :P, I meant I took off the 1st lead marked Power SW and put the Second lead marked Power SW on the power sw header of the mobo and nothing happened. Like I said above I should had just pulled the front part/bezzle off in the 1st place and traced the wires, but I was a bit shy on the whole, new, not wanting to brake it.

I have took it off and traced them and the 2nd Power SW actually is the reset button. As I said above I totally missed it as it's fairly discrete.
