The Era 2 and Mood were showcased at Computex and looks to be everything that we should have got with the original Era especially. The Design has a lot of hand holding which creates easy access to the interior and the build process in which they call "Engineering Integration Features". They're basically tabs that you can push or pull that gives a quick release to remove panels etc, Fractal just slapped a fancy term on it but essentially that's what it is.

Love the look of both the Era 2 and the Mood, both very sleek designs that won't look out of place in a modern home. Era 2 comes in at 18.9L while the The Mood, no info on that yet but like the Fractal Ridge has a fabric finish but all around and is supposed to allow good airflow through. The Mood is basically a Terra but in vertical form for a small footprint form factor, something that i've been really into lately. Both will have Rad support too so gonna be amazing to see what custom watercooled builds we can do in these.

Waiting to see actual reviews of what the thermal performance is like, hopefully a huge improvement.

Era 2 price is $199 - Available Q3 2024
Mood price is $150 - Available 18th June

The Era 2 looks very cheap and nasty, and it would be expensive at £50, never mind the £150 they apparently want for it. By contrast, in the review videos the Mood looks very nice IMHO.

Something to fit in a designer office or study, or as a HTPC. The picture in the OP is of the back side. The front is all fabric and looks designed to blend in. It could easily be mistaken for a speaker. I'm just disappointed they've based the Mood around a 180mm fan: basing it around a larger fan - say 200mm or 240mm - would allow larger GPUs.

i really like the look of the Mood, the cables coming out of the bottom are a bit of a faff for me though, as i want something i can move upstairs and downstairs, depending on the game i want to play (monitor or TV)

Really nice but I'd want to know if the new 5080/90 FE cards will fit in there first...I'm pretty certain they will but best to be sure beforehand.
