Fractal Meshify C: tempered glass or steel side panel?

Hi all, I'm going to buy a Meshify C for my next build (10 years in the making!) and was initially going to go for the version with the steel side panel for noise purposes (plus I can't see my tower anyway so glass is useless). However, it looks like the steel panel doesn't actually have any noise dampening material anyway and the tempered glass version is for some reason cheaper.

Are there any disadvantages with the tempered glass version? Would it be noisier than the steel side panel version?

Well since you can't see your PC, that probably means it is not right next to you. In this scenario even if there is few db difference I wouldn't think that its a game changer.

Well it's under the desk. I can still hear it, just not as much as if it was on the desk.

I'd say the biggest source of audible sounds will come from those 3 front fans and the speed at which they are running and case side material won't make much/any difference.

How transparent or opaque is the side panel on the glass version of the Meshify C? Also what fans come with it and are they PWM?
