Hey everyone, I recently bought a couple of corsair coolers so have my Fractal R3 provisionally set up as above:
- Corsair H100 acting as a front intake, cooling a 1.15 GHz 7970
- Corsair H100i acting as a roof vent, cooling a 4.5 GHz 2500k
- Some generic PWM fan cooling the radeon's VRMs

The Radeon hits 73 C under load and the i5 hits 53. Acceptable temps but I'm placing a component order soon so my question to you fine folks is what would you do in this instance? I plan to add a quiet 120mm exhaust fan in the rear but should I balance that by adding another in the bottom as an intake? The bottom vent is filtered so maintaining a positive pressure should help minimise dust as far as I'm aware

Yes, add a bottom intake to supply cool air to GPU components not under H2O. That said, your temps are not bad as they are. Push / pull would probably help the H100 on front too. The combined restriction of side vent intake, grill in front of filters, filters, etc. add up. ;)

Good shout mate, thanks. I've added a pair of noctuas to the front rad and have an AP121 on order for the bottom intake
