Fractal R3 nub question

I installed some fans, on the bottom and on the side but at the top it seems like it's covered in mesh, I didn't know what I was suppose to do and didn't want to ruin it.

Am I suppose to rip the mesh apart to put the fans in ? How do you install the top fans?

Place the fans underneath the mesh, line up the screwholes, then screw them in. It's the same as any fan mount.

Hi Liam, thanks for your help. I was doing that but I figured out what my problem is, I'm sure there's a solution to this and I'm not clever enough to find it.

The 2 top fan slots and the side fan slot underneath the cpu cooler, the screw holes only line up for 140mm. I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do to put the 120mm fan there.

Does anyone know pls? lol, otherwise I'm gonna have to buy 140mm fans which sucks cuz i just bought 3 120mm! , The bottom slot is optional too thou and the screws for 120mm are there thou which is why I don't understand.

My R2 has 120mm holes in the top too, just in from the 140mm holes.

It's R3, I can only see 140mm holes, honestly -x, where am i suppose to be looking lol

Theres both mate, if you look carefully at each of the 140 holes theres ones that line up just below each one,the holes aren't in sequence with the grill pastern they look slightly odd
