I completed my new build last night and after an initial heart stopping moment where I pressed the power button and nothing happened, it now fires up fine.
The R3 is a big step up from my ancient Coolermaster Centurion and cable management has made a big difference to the clean look of the system (pics to follow!)
My query is with the Chassis fans - should they be connected to the motherboard at any point? I've got 3 fans and all 3 are connected to the fan controller but I don't know if this should be connected to the motherboard so the bios can pick up the fact that I've got some system fans installed.
Also, I'm assuming this case doesn't have an internal "beep" speaker because I couldn't find any connectors for one?
