Hey guys after some advice if possible.

A friend at work has an older Fractal R4 case and his hardware is pretty old now (socket 775 era).

We have access to a new motherboard and GPU (due to work -Asus Z97-WS and a Asus ROG Striker 760) so he is looking to upgrade his CPU/RAM/SSD and would like an AIO watercooler.

So he is currently looking at the following:

Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail

Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (HX316C10FBK2/16)

Samsung 250GB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid State Drive (MZ-75E250B/EU)

As for the AIO watercooler we are not sure what would be best suited for the above and the current case (Fractal R4) - Would a 240mm rad fit in this case ok? He is going to keep 1x HDD cage.

Any suggestions on different RAM/CHIP with that board/GPU?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds good, what AIO cooler is he looking to get? 240mm will fit fine you can consider the h100i. Although the R4 is not the largest of cases so it may be a bit tight.

Thats the thing i am worried about.

I guess i could front mount the radiator in that case? or even at the top? Just wanted to know 100% it will fit one in there somewhere!

I've got a h100 in the top of mine and another 240mm swiftech rad in the front. Should be fine. You need to remove one of the drive cages and shift the second cage back to get a 240mm rad in the front.
