Just want to know is there a big impact on the sound noise from the fans etc from windowed and not windowed.

Atm I have a phanteks ethoo pro..and the space isnt used up, so it's not entirely compact. And my GTX 980 is on 35c, not running any games at all.

Hey there using a windowed R5 here, very very quiet case indeed.

Got 2 140 fans installed in the front, one 140mm at the rear, a corsair h105 cooler & rad in the roof of the case with 2 120mm noiseblockers fitted to it.

I run the case fans on the medium setting from the built in fan controller all the time with the front door closed, the cpu idles at 25 degrees c and ramps up to 50 degrees c when I am converting video files.

Got a Gtx Titan installed which idles at 26 degrees c and ramps up to 80 degrees c when under load playing games.

Plus I am using the 5 drive bay section mounted in the bottom of the case.

Like I said the case is very quiet, even if you keep the door open on the front of the case.

Hope this helps :)

Cheers all

Thinking about going for one of these, As I want a case that's a bit quieter, I have a Corsair air 540 atm, R5 looks a bit classier too imo.

Almost finished my rebuild and moving it to this case, it deffo is better and better to relocate cages and such and such a smaller and compact case
