Fractal S...VS NZXT H440

I've been looking into this myself, and I have decided on the define s, as it isn't as tall as the h440 (so it will actually fit under my desk), and you can fit more radiator space in there (as far as I can tell you can't get a 360 rad that is thick in the front without modding)

I have the enthoo pro, for about 4months, not done anything to it, but its so big and dull..way too much space. Could see myself doing mods to these 2 cases. Like wcing, and led lights etc, more flasier..ethoo pro just seems meh

You can fit a massive rad in the front, this RX is 56mm thick and the res is 60mm thick, i would have put my monsta (80mm) 360 in if it wasn't White.

Excuse the mess just now, it should all match up better soon when i sort cables and get Watercool 980 Ti block, get lighting and install Bitspower fittings, Blue tubing also.

is there no way of using two 30 mm thick 360 rads in the case? I was thinking it may work if you attach the case directly to the case and, if needed, flipping the front/top rads round?

I think MAYBE two thin rads maybe but connecting them might be a pain since it will be so tight.

Kind of a waste of the massive amount of room in the front though.

Khemist..its boootiful :o... I wanted to get fractal R5 for a while...but this is even better...and compact comapared to ethoo pro..how much did it cost all together to wc cpu and gpu?

The EK GPU block is getting switched to a watercool one to match the cpu block.

For both blocks it cost about £160, cant remember the price of the pump and rads etc, i've had them for years, got a load of rads i've never used still.

Looks like I'm gonna have to wait for my case to arrive then to test out what I want to do with it :p

H440 looks amazing, I have the red one, but it's a bit crap for airflow and so Temps and noise ain't that great. The problem is the mesh on the top and on the sides, even with SP fans the air flow ain't enough.

But ... I've stuck some leds inside and got some red neon for the bottom! Looks awesome!

Nice looking case above :)

I have a similar setup but that red LED on sound card just had to come off lol annoyed the crap out of me, very simple just chop it off :P

Sorry to ressurect an old thread, I did try a PM but it said I dont have permission, could be because Ive only just signed up I guess.

khemist, I wanted to ask about that rad in the top of your case. Is that a 240/280 crossflow? Did you have any issues fitting it? Did it interfere with the rear fan at all? Also what size is the rear fan?

I'm currently looking to re-case my PC into a Define S and wanted to go for either a 240/280/360 crossflow in top and a fan on the rear depending on what I can make fit.
