Fractal S24 CPU_OPT or CPU_FAN

Hi all,

A simple question really. Just to be sure, which one would you recommend it use on the mobo?

Product website claims 6.6W with fans. So that should be OK on any fan header that can supply 1 amp.

I would suggest the CPU_FAN header as a) the motherboard may flag a fault if no CPU fan speed is detected and b) CPU_OPT headers sometimes don't deliver speed control.

I was under the impression it was CPU_FAN as the AIO fans are in the units PCB.

I use CPU_FAN when I use S24/S36 on multiple boards and I have never had an issue at all. I also tend to set to PWM and use BIOS to control as Auto doesn't work very well on overclocked systems in my experience.
