Evening,

I currently have a Fractal torrent with the stock fans.

I'm just about to build a new system with a 12900k/3080TI with a Liquid Freezer II 360mm AIO for the CPU.

I have bought a P500A case for this, but I do like the Torrent and was wondering your thoughts on putting the AIO in the front?

My main concerns are the heat being pumped into the case and warming the GPU up - however the GPU does also have fans below it in the bottom of the case.

Thoughts - should I be worried/concerned or should I just go with the P500A and have the rad in the top?

Thanks!

The GPU will get a ton of fresh air from the lower fans as you say.

Remember that radiators dont actually heat the air which goes through them that much. The exhausted radiator air is typically heated less than 10degC IIRC. So in a fractal torrent case, its not going to make that much of a difference really I dont think.

If it really bothered you, you could put something in the lower section of the case that directed the air of the lower AIO fan upwards as it flowed through the case to get it above the GPU line, which would encourage the GPU to get the fresh air from the lower fans.
