How much would changing the parts from one bike, to buying a new frame and putting the old parts on the new frame? I've never built a bike from scratch.

Say if I bought this, apart from usual inner/outers what else would I need that I can't salvage from the existing bike?

Existing bike has Campagnolo Mirage trible groupset. Square taper BB, rim brakes, Campagnolo wheels.

I guess headset, fork star fangled nut, BB cable guide.

That would be better.
How old is your current frame? Assuming you have a modern ahead style headset (not a quill stem) and modern hub spacings (130mm?) it should be a straight forward swap.

Cables + outers
Braze on adaptor for FD
Possibly bar tape too if you strip it off to replace cables.

About 2005, modern headset not quill. Weird as the bike is apparently the right size, but because of the compact geometry it feels a bit small.

I could get a frame through work, like boardman but I guess can't be too high up as those are PF BB's would need to stick to smaller threaded BB. Unless I use a Praxxis but those aren't cheap
