It's killing me trying to find a program that records or shows your FPS on screen whilst gaming. FRAPS doesn't work. Afterburner no longer works with BF4.

Can anyone help? What do you guys use? :o

If you're using a Nvidia GPU then you can use the Nvidia software to do it (I think it's part of shadowplay). I'll get a screenshot when I get home if someone else hasn't.

Dxtory still works with bf4

Alternatively use the console command;
Perfoverlay.drawfps 1

This will trigger the bf4 built in frame counter

Used the overlay. Perfect thanks.

MSI does work but have to set default launch option to x86 on Origin. FPS appears to be MUCH better now I'm just using the overlay. :p

Odd :) as long as you still have your desired result no problem right :D, did these programs work for you before ? I know that afterburner now works through the second software pack rivatuner server

Afterburner worked for a while. Then my game, video driver and afterburner updated and it stopped working. :p

And FRAPS, from what I can gather, has compatibility issues with 8.1. At least on some systems anyway.

For now I'm happy with the in-game counter. Afterburner was always alittle funny with BF4 anyway. Was the same with Titanfall. ;)
