I have recently bought an 8800gt 512MB GFX card. must say im loving it. got everything on highest reselution and highest quality., the most recent game i have is Assasins creed and it handles it not a problem. See when everyone talks about frames per second do you need an aplication to record this? also is there something you can set so you get the highest amount?

you can use FRAPS to tell you the FPS you're getting on games, it allows you to screenshot and record video of your FPS.
agree....monitoring fps will lead you down a road of anxiety, fuelling your "need" for a newer gfx card.
there's a few ways to overclock your grfx, but again, if every game you play is maxing out and playing smoothly, why do you need to?
If you want to try, I'd suggest using ntune to monitor your cards temps, rivatuner to adjust clocks, and atitool to stress/find artifacts.
It's a relatively simple process, until you get into voltmods/bios mods etc.
