France + rental car + static speed cameras

hello everyone,

ive recently been to france and think i might have got caught on one or three cameras while i was over there!

i was in a company rental car, - are they likley to catch me ? :D

lol, on the way back from the ring we were the last people on the ferry :o Ended up in a convoy of other cars ( we didn't know them), all doing like 50-60 over the speed limit, and funnily enough, all brits :D

We had a similar sprint for the ferry doing 120ish through a thunderstorm on the way back from the french grand prix last year. Got caught by at least one camera, but it would seem they aren't that bothered.
 
At the moment you should be alright, but in a couple of years speed camera photos will travel the borders around europe. They passed legislation last year.
 
lol I have ridden from cambridge to the south of spain via calais and round the peripherique through paris, was about 3 years back and the only speed camera we saw the entire journey was shortly after calais. bearing in mind we were pretty naughty ie basically riding at the kph limits but in mph ;) I find it very hard to see how anyone could be dumb enough to get caught by one over there.. or have they got more now that are better disguised than the giant blue thing I recall.
