Struggled with the sun again. It was my first visit to York and the sun was on the wrong side for me most of the day.

All were taken with the Tamron 70-300 VC USD. I'm not totally blown away with it. The softness in the above photos is my fault though. I'm really cursing myself with not researching where the sun would be.
The annoying thing is that I paid £26 for my ticket. If I'd paid £8 for a cheaper one, I'd have been on the other side of the course where the sun would have been ideal.
