Frankfurt

I am going to visit my friend in Frankfurt for 4 days in May. I know it is not the most exciting of cities but can anyone recommend things to do?

We're thinking about hiring a car for the day so we don't mind traveling to areas of interest.

Drive the autobarn and go to the ring

Dont forget to eat 2 stakes a plate of chips a beer and a sunday

I'm looking forward to the autobarn but not sure about rental cars and the ring.

I really don't think the nurburgring will be high on our list of things to do as it's 3 girls going.

I would love to do it, I wouldn't want my friend to do it (bad driver) and the other one can't drive. So would be a bit boring for them to watch me drive around ... but we could firt with the rich guys in the fancy cars.
