Frankie's in trouble again..

Personally I thing Boyle is excellent.
Saw him live and it was a great night out.
His "Knight Rider" on Tramodol Nights the first week was top stuff.

You know what you're going to get with Boyle yet people just watch him so they can complain about him.
He says what others simply don't dare.

didnt he just say she looked like the back of a spoon or something?
In a show broadcast in August 2008, Boyle said Adlington looks "like someone who's looking at themselves in the back of a spoon".
Because she "had not sought celebrity status or courted media attention" it was frowned upon by the Trust's Editorial Standards Committee.

I find the type of "comedy" he uses to be very simple and unimaginative.

Anyone can say the type of things he says or worse.

Real comedians don't need to resort to that.
Just my opinion.

Really crap joke. His new sketch show is also, really, really bad.

Far more amused at how people in here think Jorden is being ridiculous. She is quite obviously, and quite rightly, going to be extremely offended.

shell be glad of this anyway as she's that desperate for publicity
Probably the only reason she bothered contacting OfCom.

Does anyone remember when Mark Thompson (I think it was him) went on Newnight to deal with the Ross/Brand/Sachs debacle and Emily Maitlis read out Frankie Boyle's joke about the Queen's haunted genitals? Absolutely hilarious :D

Top marks to Thompson for managing to keep a straight face.

It's a shame he has no backbone though. He recently decided to cripple BBC comedy with new decency guidelines.

Lol i just watched that clip on youtube, now theres pure unintentional comedy genius, and then she says it again!. Im amazed if they did that and nobody laughed, even the crew behind the camera :p.

Watched the first couple of eps of Tramdol fully now, and the sketches are just not funny. Really really dire. Only half his jokes are funny, and tbh it's more the way he tells them rather than the content. Frankie Boyle = meh

He was a legend on Mock the Week purely because it wasn't him telling jokes constantly. His standup act and TV shows when he's on his own though are tedious, mainly down to his style of delivery. Crude one-line after crude one-line is only funny for so long.

woo selective quoting.

I find his humour unimaginative and simple.

I understand what the Aristocrats is :)

It's easy and simple to insult and come up with "dity" and "rude" / "crude" jokes imo.

I'd much rather watch a comedian such as Eddie Izzard.

I didn't find him funny nor shocking at first and still don't now. He was alright on mock the week, amusing, his stand up is painful.

I think he's funny, I do like his standup too.

Too many over sensitive people around these days, especially as the subject was Katie Price, who would happily throw her children to the lions to save face with the press if she had to.

Hilarious initially but the shock factor isnt quite as amusing as it once was.

Hes a funny bloke , but relies on shock and offence too much.

Doesnt take much intelligence to structure a joke like the one in question.. mocking a large disabled child is too easy.

That was exactly my point. Anyone can say something so disgusting or crude that people laugh uncomfortably because they can't believe what you are saying. The real talent is in saying something genuinely funny.

i've watched Tramadol Nights a few times now. was really hoping it would be good but i've only managed a few chuckles

there are only so many aids and pedophile jokes and hes still using some of the stuff from mock the week (which he was brilliant on!) and the sketches try to shock too much the joke is lost

Ricky Gervais still my fave
