Fraps then what ?

Hi all I am sure this has been covered a million times , but its bugging the hell out of me , here is the issue

I can record pc gameplay mostly wow using fraps(registered version ) and get great results one big problem the file is like 60gb as I have set it to record at 1080 , I have tried converting using freemake video converter to mp4 still looks good very clear and now only 50mb or so but when I then put it into windows movie maker it then looks terrible and the picture is all grainy , I have tried adding the uncompressed file to wmm but it wont accept it no reason why just has yellow exclamation mark I try and upload to youtube with wmm and the file which plays fine still now looks grainy

this is very annoying any advice on the process greatly appreciated , I don't care how long it takes to process just need the best quality and I want to get titles ect included aswell

msi afterburner has record facility and you can lower the quality/size also shadowplay if your on the green team

The movie maker quality in app is a preview if you then export it as a high quality movie after editing quality goes up again.

is there any reason it wont add the file is it to long at 14 mins or to big at 60gb
