elo, i dont think any ppl use this program but its for recording ** on screen game play so you can make clan movies ect, well iv downlaoded it and got it working but it stops recording after 30secs even tho iv unticked the timer box. If anyone knows how to use this then please let me know.

The time limit is 30 seconds, unless you have the full version. Then you can record for much longer.

The older versions of Fraps didn't have the 30 second limit. If you look hard enough yo might be able to find them.

Only problem with that I think is the older versions won't work with never versions of DirectX. Could be wrong on that though.

iv tried lots of fraps and they just dont load only the trial one, think ill have to do without...gamecam just closes my games soon as they boot :-(

You can do tv out to a dvd player, that way you can get 720x576 video in perfect quality and it will use up 0% of the cpu.

Or you can do tv out to something else like a tv card, that way you can record in hd res and only use a little cpu power assuming the card has onboard mpeg2 encoding. If your pc is powerfull enough you could use divx encoding.
