ive captured 2 mins of a game in fraps, how can i compress it to less than 100mb so i can upload it to youtube?

Anyone got some good virtualdub settings?

Compress it with divx 6.1 and ac3 128 kbit, should shrink it a lot, what I do usually with fraps clips in virtualdub.

EDIT, oh youtube, ehhh well you can try converting to mpeg or something, doesn't reallly matter what since youtube shrinks&converts vids anyhow. Just try out a lot of different codecs.

Well just select a perticlular codec, settings of that codec, set the quality & size slider as low as possible, and usually should to the job @ most codecs.

[iBot]Youtube is crap, nothing new on it at all, certainly not worth the wait in letting my browser load it. If you want to kill 4 hours then go for it, but don't waste your bandwidth on it unless you really have nothing better to do.[/iBot]

In all seriousness though, even Windows Media Encoder 9 series will get that down to size (use the Pocket PC format), and the quality will certainly be watchable enough for youtube.

Witty.

I just used divx and mp3 audio and got the 2gig down to 50 mb, not bad :) Uploading now.

use xvid 1000kb/s mp3 franhauffer codec @ 128kb/s
a music video comes out about 50mb at this setting (4-5mins long)
