It seems Fraps really destroys your fps when recording in game even at 60fps half size, i thought it would mabye take away 10 - 15 fps. Has anyone any suggestions on what settings i should apply or even a different program?

Running GTX 670, i5 3570K.

Meh i've never had an issue with msi afterburner besides i use that for my overclocking as well and it's one less application running ( minus dxtory ). I have used Dxtory and ended up uninstalling it shortly after :p ( twitchtv )

MSI Afterburner is a great tool considering it's free. The only downside is the fact that you can only use the 2 codecs built into it.

For me, Dxtory coupled with the Lagarith codec is probably the best option available at the moment...I'm getting a strange sense of deja vu :P

Dumb question.
I can only find the screen capture option in my Afterburner, no option to record. Any idea where it is?
