Freaked out by speaker

I'm basically freaked out by my own speakers, believe it or not I turned my pc on and after maybe 5 min I could hear sort of static voice "Mike Zero Xray zulu Lima" and it gets repeated few time then it stops, I didn't think much of it as I had youtube opened up but didn't play nothing so assumed it was some sort of advert or something, dropped wife to work walked in and could hear again WTF???

I recorded with my phone and notice I can hear again every sort of 30 min give or take, any clue???

Dude burn your house down and inform the Ordo Malleus.

Do you live near a Minicab firm or have neighbours into HAM radio? Ask Feek ?? :P
 
Have you seen the movie frequency. It could be you from the future? I'd make contact and see if you can get next weeks lotto numbers.

Since it was my idea, we should split the winnings 50/50

I had them Logitech speakers for years been honest, and what I use them for perfectly fine, oh well might just have to put up with it, they might get board of using there radio one day
 
Badly shielded IF/AF circuitry somewhere in your system. Your PC has no intended way of receiving and demodulating CB or Ham radio transmissions, but if the interference source is close/powerful enough, the modulation might be picked up and amplified by your sound card.

I used to have a set of Logitech speakers that did this as well, although they were picking up a foreign radio station and only late at night and when the volume was turned down (even with no sound playing, if the volume was turned up on the speakers it went away). I was in High Wycombe at the time but weirdly, a friend who lived in Notts with the same speakers could hear the same station.
