Hi,
Does anyone know of a decent ISP that supplies free 128k dual channel isdn connectivity at 1p per minute?
I have tried around 10 different isps from google but they either disconnect me or they connect but sites dont load etc.
Thanks
AMD

Can't get a successful 128k connection with that isp either
I tried '12free uk isp' and both channels connnected fine but websites didn't work.
TeamSpeak worked fine but websites wouldnt load

I have just tried Vispa and i get the same problem, both channels connect but i cannot access http pages etc
This modem works fine on Virgin's 64k unlimited

As all the ISP's that have been posted seem to be problematic for you are you sure it's not something other than the ISP's ?

I have to admit after you have tried all of those ISPs I suspect the problem isnt with the ISPs but your own equipment. Do you have home highway? If you do then try using the USB TA built into the box on the wall.

Yes i have home highway, i have used 128k before from uku.co.uk with this exact modem and 64k works fine
I will try the USB modem and get back to you :)
Also, when i use the LAN modem i get like a lowest ping of about 50, but on the USB modem the lowest ping i can get is like 96, is there anyway to fix this?
Cheers

I don't think my modem like 0845 numbers lol

IIRC you need to enable something or other in IE connection settings. Sorry I can't be more specific but it has been a long time since I was on ISDN

I think Vispa knew what my problem was :) I sent them an email explaining the problem and here's what i got :D

Hi

It might be worth hardsetting your DNS ip's into the connection.

The DNS servers are
62.24.228.9
62.24.228.10
