Free alternate to DynDNS?

Evening all

Just popped over to DynDNS as i thought i would be able to signup for a free account and not have to worry about my ever changing IP when connecting to my home router via PPTP VPN but it seems they no longer provide this. Its prob old news but i have only just realized

Are there any good free alternates to their service? Or would i be best to just sign up with them for $20 for the year?

No option to just get a static ip from your ISP?

No-ip is just as good and more or less has the same support as dyndns on most routers.

Dont think sky give the option if a static ip mate otherwise id be all over it :-)

No-IP is nice, apart from the monthly captcha requirement.

Cool cheers just signed up, i didnt download their updater tool as i already had the no-ip ddns setup in my 7800n router to update after 28 days but if it will work is another question

Didn't realise DynDNS don't do free accounts anymore. Luckily mine still works

They'll delete it if it doesn't update every 30 days
