I just find Daemon tools a bit bloaty.

MagicDisk is where its at, imo, ofcourse, or Virtual Clone is you want to be able to mount BD iso's

Do any of these work on 7?
The latest version of Daemon Tools apparently works with Win 7.

I don't think Daemon really helped themselves with their initial arrogant and frankly rather snotty response to requests for Win 7 support (effectively "beta operating systems aren't supported, go away") - a great many people (such as myself) switched to Virtual Clone Drive, and now don't see any particularly pressing reason to switch back... :)

daemon tools relies on a 3rd party driver, which is flakey at the best of times.
plus they bundle spyware in their installer (optional but still lame)

slysoft make awesome software, update it very regularly, and best of all virtual clone drive is 100% free, and installs without needing a reboot

virtual clone drive works on 98 to Windows 7 (32/64)

Then I've been riding the "best times" for almost 10 years then.

Lots of programs bundle "zomg a free IE toolbar" these days. Even Microsoft and Google. As with everything... don't just click Next Next Next when installing programs. Read and think what you are doing.

Daemon Tools bundles far worse than "zomg a free IE toolbar".

I've used Daemon Tools for years but much prefer Virtual Clone Drive which I only discovered a few weeks ago, just seems nicer to use :p
