Free alternative to ghost/true image

Hello!

I was just wondering if anyonw knew of a good free alternative to ghost/true image?

Looking for somthing that will let me compress system images and split them across dvd's / CD's.

Needs to beable to boot from CD to restore

I have had a good hunt about the net and cant find anything thats would seem to fit the bill!

Acronis home edition isnt that expensive and its very good. I would recommend you to go and buy it.

drive image xml, whack it onto a windows pe disc

far fiddlier than just buying acronis true image, ati is just awesome

If you have a Seagate/Maxtor HDD in your system, then you could use DiscWizard or MaxBlast which are the same and is basically ATI 10+ with a couple of minor features missing...

Or maybe Paragon Drive Backup Express
