Free AV for Windows 2003.

Hi guys,

I'm struggling to find a free av client for 2003; any suggestions?

Hmmm seems they want you to pay for AV when your running a server edition o/s then. Only other suggestions I can make is Avast or AVG. If you do end up paying for something then go with Kaspersky or NOD32

Yeah, I reckon it'll end up being AVG, Avast doesn't work either... I might end up paying for NOD32 tbh.

Clamwin is open source (free) and the last time I tried it, it worked on Windows 2003.

I'd have to disagree with you there. Avast, MSSE and Avira are perfectly fine free alternatives. Just as good as paid products really.

Then we agree to disagree. I'd rather have NOD32 on all my machines (which I do) than any of the free anti virus solutions I've tried in the past.

I use microsoft essentials anti virus on the windows 7 PC, does that work with windows 2003 ?
