Free backup?

I'm looking for something that I can install on my parents PC to allow them to just dump files into a single folder and whatever they put in there gets backed up.

Any thoughts?

Free online backup?
Free local (to USB HDD) backup?

You can use SyncBack and SyncToy for examples and just set them to mirror a specified folder.

I use SyncBack and it's so easy to use, Just run it every so often and it does just as you ask!

What you could do, is create a robocopy script, and then set the script as a scheduled task. This what I'm going to do for my Dads computer.

For online storage up to 2GB, Dropbox is free and good.

dropbox is ideal as you dont have to do anything, its fully automatic
