just installed mine bit of a hassle having to tighten the heat sink from the reverse side of the motherboard but I managed it by balancing the heat sink on the screws and carefully swivelling the board until 2 screws were hanging over the edge. after that tightening them all up was pretty simple.

The instructions say to not use the transparent plastic washers with 1156 socket so I guess it's the same with socket 1150.
It also says to tighten the screws to the end of the threads but it's kind of hard to tell when that is so I just tightened it until the heat sink felt stuck to the board with no movement

Any chance you could post some Temp's up with this cooler as I have the same bundle coming on friday. Would like to see what the temps are at 4.2 ghz

I don't really OC
at stock
30c idle
50c load

@ 4ghz (just uppint the vcore to 1.160 from 1.130 and setting the clock multiplier to 40)
30c idle
55c load

@4.3ghz using gigabytes cpu upgrade thing which set a ridiculous 1.35 vcore  I was hitting 70c (apparently people with the good chips are hitting 4.7ghz @ 1.25-1.3 but 90c temps and obviously much better coolers than this)
