This is my handmade case I called X53 (originally 'X'Case) I will send this case to anyone of you in the UK Mainland, at my expense (your expense if you live overseas) so long as you promise to finish it, mod it, and build a PC in it. All I ask is a small logo somewhere that say X53 in green - please. X for X case and the 53 was always my XBOX static IP and reflected my ridiculous fasination with Herbie back in the day. I also would like to see the images posted on here for all to see. All was hand made no CNC cheating.

Maybe a white and green xbox 360 theme, aimed at being a emulator/retro gaming machine?
Since I doubt there is a space for modern sized GFX cards, so a APU in the form of a Ryzen G.
The case sprayed white as well as the PSU and USB header.

A vacuum formed thin plastic over the motherboard (with a standoff for airflow and appropriate cutouts) to give it a white appearance. Or painted in a way so not to hurt thermals.

All covered with an clear plastic panel with x53 etched in one corner and a green led to highlight the etching!

and two buttons for power and reset:

Indeed it was going to be an XBOX Mk1 with an LCD screen for the chip display etc. I was heavily into modding the xbox in those days. The rear was going to have 3,4 and 5 wire RGB and compnent video, VGA as well as the usual ouputs. An ITX would fall in there. The DVD drive would be on the rails with the LCD below. It all started, briefly, when I made this tiny XBOX case for someone else.

This turned into a self cooling case for under the TV. It didnt have the best thermals, so he used a fan about a meter away to blow air around the TV cabinet.

This is the custom heat transfer device, or folded piece of aluminium in the real world. It coupled the CPU and GPU to the case.

It did all fit in but it did run warm. Never thottled but not ideal. I cut vents into for him which helped but it was never a good thermal solution.

Soon after came the idea of a case for my own XBOX, and so Project X was born.
