Free/Cheap apps that can entertain a 4.5 year old?

Hi guys,

We're off away next week and after upgrading my eldest's iPad I'd like to replace her older baby apps/games with better ones. Mainly games and learning apps which are 4 year old +.

I'm not really wanting to spend much unless they are quite in depth, she loves learning so anything like this would be good.

Any advice?

My suggestion is simple.
Install the YouTube app and teach her how to play video. Once you show one or two learning video the apps will suggest you more similar videos. So the kid don't have to search herself.
