Free/Cheap FPS for LAN

Hi All

A couple of the lads at work have asked me for suggestions of games they could play during their lunch break, they're criteria are fairly simple but I'm struggling for ideas.

1) They want something modern warefare like (ie not aliens, lasers, railguns etc) - Which ruled out Open Arena

2) Something suitable for 4 or 5 players (ie fairly small maps) - ruled out Battlefield 2

3) Must be able to setup a private LAN

4) Either free or pretty cheap as they'll all have to get a copy.

Anyone got any thoughts/suggestions?

I agree and recommended it but for only 4 players most of the maps are a little large and they don't want to be running about not finding anyone for ages...

Not a bad suggestion, though I think they'd probably prefer something death matchy so they can all kill each other.

I did suggest that but they're more interested in the modern warfare type environment rather than explosive crossbows etc.
