Free/Cheap games for Macbook

Can anyone suggest some decent free/very cheap games I can waste a bit of time with? It'll be used on a MB so needs to be playable on a trackpad.

I'm thinking some kind of easy/laid back strategy game or adventure game etc.

u on Lion? if yes then there should be plenty of free games on the app store

I realise that, but would like some recommendations.

It's not like in the gaming forum someone asks and gets told "go to game, there are loads of games there"

And TBH it's the trackpad issue I'm more interested in, a lot of games just aren't conducive to trackpads.

Download Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/). They have new deals every day and regular sales so you can pick up even fairly recent games for a few quid.

Plants vs Zombies is well worth a look if you haven't played it before. I use my MBP mainly for Left4Dead 2 gaming-wise.

Get yourself a bluetooth mouse. I use a logitech one and works nicely.

Not really going to work when I'm sat on my bed or on a train...

I use my laptop on my lap 99% of the time.

The App store just appears to be full of modified iOS games rather than actual computer games.
