Hello, I was wondering what's the point of some vendors offering free delivery when your purchase exceeds a certain amount if they also offer free returns. One would order things that are not required to make up the amount then get both delivery and returns for free.

Uhh because reasonable people would rather pay the £5 delivery rather than mess about and take the parcel to a post office / drop-off point?

Very rarely free returns will cover home collection.

Because I would assume they don't just throw all the purchasing trend information away, and would happily suspend your access to free returns if you abused it.
