VLC Media Player.

It also does region free playback.

I use it for all my video files, fantastic.

I definitely concur with the recommendation for VLC, it gets better each build.

Seconded. Or Thirded if I get beaten to that, or fourthed failing that.

Superb bit of software. Pretty decent price too.

Yep and latest build ironed out all my Vista bugs.
