Hi,

Looking for a DVD software for a conference room PC. Needs to be really easy to use.

Was just going to use VLC but think even that may prove a challenge for some of our users.

Thanks,

Does media player play DVD's out of the box ?

Just for reference, not on XP no, but as I remember it does on Vista Home Premium and Ultimate and presumably will on every Windows 7 version from HP upwards.

For XP, DScaler should work with Windows Media Player fine, if you'd prefer not to install a codec pack. :)

I used to use VLC Media Player, as mentioned it plays virtually everything.

However i noticed sometimes it doesn't display subtitles (i.e in Avatar when they speak there own language). So for stuff like that i also have installed K-Lite Codec pack which works well with WMP.

+1 for VLC. If you just set it to auto-run whenever a DVD gets put in, there's not much they can't understand.
