Free Forum?

Hi all,

Im looking to make a free forum for an in-game guild. I want members to be able to sign up to the guild, have options for colour schemes etc. And easy to use.!

Any free sites?

PHP Nuke may be more suitable to your needs. You'll still need a host that supports it's needs and features though, same with PHPBB. There are many others though.

Free choices are basically phpBB, SMF, and punBB.

For a small and simple board I would say punBB, phpBB for bigger, and probably SMF for lager than that. (phpBB3 may change things)

I personally use Invision Power Board but that went pay only a while back.

PHP Nuke is also free and has more than just a forum.

Download phpNuke from another location; due to how they have licenced it, it has a $10 fee for the latest version, although the GPL it is licenced under allows the purchacer to redistribute, search around for version 8.

But 7.9 is totally free along with all the versions prior to v8.

So is 8? You just have to download it from another site, latest version is usually the best in these sort of things.

I've always found previous version to be best..as they fix security holes in the later on
