Free Gamecube Game

Is the contract really only 3 months though? Im seriously tempted as pikmin 2 is still 20 pounds plus in the shops so getting it for free and getting a discount on NOM (well ONM now) which I would buy anyway is a good deal for me.
 
The new mags quite good actually a lot better than the usual official console magazines, they didnt give every game OMG best game eva 100000% like OPS2M do.

Got some up to date reviews as well this months include:

Super Monkey Ball DS
Worms DS
The Rub Rabbits
Lunar Genisis

and none of the above scored more than 79%. Well worth £9.99 for 3 issues and a game imo.
 
OK i did it, guess ill be the test subject, Just write a letter in 3 months time to the bank or maybe ill let it run.

To be fair to the old NOM it was fair to games too, they didnt give high scores out at all. In fact they were a bit harsh if anything scoring below gamespot (which i take a benchmark these days). Plus they were always pretty funny. But the new magazine is pretty good too, they look to be trying to shift th 'kiddy' magazine image.
 
you can change the address, just have to call them up.

That said donkey konga can be had with bongo for 15 quid new in gamestation. Where as pikmin 2 is 30, so you if you were so inclined a sale of pikmin 2 new on ebay would prob fetch 25 at least.
 
well I just looked over 5 major games sellers and it was 29.99 at every single one.

Ones I can mention are gameplay (29.99) Game (39.99)
 
NOM was rubbish scoring games on the N64.

WWF Warzone = 90%
Battletanx: Global Assault = 90%
South Park = 90%
South Park Rally = 91%

Anyone want to tell me those are accurate?
 
South park rally was actually a fantastic game. Very close in quality to diddy kong and MK bt with a completely new style.
 
Your opinion of me is irrelevant. South park rally was one of the best multiplayer games I have played.

Mind you I haven't played it since I was 13.

O I def agree back in the n64 day they used it as a tool to sell more n64's but the last year at least its been great. They had articles saying how they know the gc isnt doing as well a the other consoles in the uk and a lot of crappy games are out for it etc.

That does make me worry that the new team are being primed to poo the old stuff but realyl over hype the new rev stuff. Still it wouldnt be an official magazine if it wasnt dedicated to the the big N.

and kreeee south park rally sucked :p My mate had it, I seem to rem getting really lost. Though I think its south park the FPS that really sucked, it was fog city.

edit: just like to say wwf warzone wasnt too bad at the time. it gets 8.6 on gamespot and 8 on ign so their review wasnt far off.

Compared to the THQ games such as No Mercy it deserves -100%, give or take :p
 
thats true, a lot of ppl consider no mercy to be the best wrestling game ever produced though. (source an article on fire pro wrestling in games tm)
 
Only gamecube game I want now is zelda twilight princess (cant wait), so I wont be subscribing to the mag but bought the first copy and was well impressed nice varied mag and the ds stickers were good too. :)
