Free Games to pass time...

Hi guys, just wanted to know if there are any free games that I can play or I can download of Steam that are any good? Its just too pass time while I get funds to build my computer/until some decent PS3 games are affordable (I don't want to waste cash on PS3 games if I am going to get a PC)...

That is my laptops spec (I know it ain't the best)...

I know that it runs Half Life 2: Orange Box and Sims 2 on full settings at a reasonable FPS...

I highly recommend TrackMania Nations Forever.

It's free, on Steam, and will easily kill some time

Where did you find 'Far Cry' for download?

I had tried before but it seemed to be a USA version or it had expired? I would be very interested in getting 'Far Cry' if i could though.
