Free Hardware recycling

Hi People,

Just a quickie, can anyone tell me if there is a company out there that recycles VERY old computers, monitors and peripherals associated?

I'm talking more than 5 or maybe 10 years old.

It's for work we have loads stacked up in a room and need to get rid of it.

We are based in Stockton on Tees and I've already done a quick web search companies only take them for free if they are less than 5 years old.

If anyone out there can help me it would be muchly appreciated.

That very big "World" with... "PC"s has freecycling going on. Also check out the forum with all the Distributed Computing Projects forum, people may want some of your stuff.

Freecycle - thats how we get rid of all our old pc's, its amazing what people will take if its free!

Yeah, Freecycle is the best idea. Charities are surprisingly fussy over what they'll take!
