free hi def samples

dont know if this request is in the right section.
im after a site were i can download free hi def / hi res samples
there for my video desktop for xp ( like dreamscene on vista )
any ideas were i can get some from ?

its vidio clips
or silent backdrops like on dreams used on vista but in mpeg avvi or wmv file
