..not sure where to put this...

But imageshack's inability to load properly for most of the time is pretty annoying. What you would guys recommend from experience?

It has to be free and offer unlimited image bandwidth for e.g. forums etc.

Cheers.

Is using the interface to upload/view images etc. easy and fast? That's the biggest problem I had with imageshack, not that the uploaded pictures weren't loading once linked to.

I upload from the app itself and get the image link from that, so no need to open any webpages.

I've used the imgur site a few times too which seems pretty good and has an easy and quick interface.

I use Photobucket... the site is a little slow, but it works well, and you an edit images with a basic toolset which for free, is pretty good.

That's why I didn't think of Photobucket, I think it's like imageshack where their website is a pain in the rear to use in terms of pages not loading up.

I've always found that Photobucket works, and works well, the only mitigating factor is the website is slooow, and clunky, its like being on a sub 2meg connection.

Perfect thanks. Loads up quickly as well.

Only downside is like everything there are limits. Though this will point out the difference between a standard and paid account.

Personally I just use the standard, mostly for rehosting image macros and things like that. Any images I need permanently hosted, I put on my MobileMe account.

I've had photobucket delete images, it seems their console monkeys can't tell the difference between historical documents and nazi propaganda, they must be American.
Allows keep a backup of any images uploaded.

I don't bother with the ImageShack web interface and use the standalone image (bulk) uploader. It’s simple, fast and I rarely have a problem with it.
