Free Line in recorder

im about to transfer some LPs onto my pc then onto a CD, what is the best software to do this? i was thinking of a free line in recorder then just burn to CD, but what is the best free software to do this?

Do you have a creative soundcard, check for wave studio in the programs folder

nope im using the motherboard (gigabyte ds3) on board sound
