Free Mind Mapping software - Any recommendations

Hi All,

Have used Mind Manager before at a previous company for doing mind maps. Looked into buying it, but costs over £200 for a single user licence.

So I was wondering if anyone has any experience of any freeware mind map drawing software they would recommend?

try freemind, it's pretty basic looking but works ok

Essentially little bubble flow charts that are one method of organising your thoughts, (particularly vast academic subjects) such that you can more easily recall something out of said subject.

I think their popularity was pushed by Tony Buzan but not sure he was their founder.
