Free MP3 Splitter

Im in need of a free (easy to use) Mp3 splitter to split up some tracks so that i can use them as ringtones.

Can anybody help me?

Also have a look at mp3DirectCut and MusiCutter in the Audio Tools (CD Ripping/Recording/Editing etc) section.

audacity is what i use for making ringtones, you can record your 'wave' or 'what you hear' tracks too (good for getting audio off dvd's)

install 1.3 beta, and the 'lame' mp3 encoder, so you can export to mp3

open your file in audacity, select the part you want, then click File, Export selection to mp3
