I am looking for a simple basic music making software where I can record my samples onto my PC to make full tracks. I have made a lot of samples and I want to put them together to make a full track. I just need something very simple and easy to use.

I need it to be either compatible with Windows 7 or 10.

Cheers.

It will look something like this...

You can buy Reaper which is a fully fledged, professional DAW for 60 bucks. I think they still do a time-limited free trial as well. It's very capable and can easily accommodate what you're talking about without being hard to navigate.

I guess there are free options as well but if you're even halfway serious about this then 60 dollars isn't an expensive outlay.

Not free but FL Studio is probably the easiest DAW to use that works in the same way as Ejay where you lay samples onto channels. they have a trial too so you can try before you buy.

Ah had so much fun with Ejay/Dance Ejay back in the day, I don't think there is anything else quite like it, I've messed about a bit with FL and Reason but much steeper learning curve.

Magix Music is the other alternative not sure if they are still going to be honest.

Probably the best free DAW around (unless you count Reaper and its winzip style forever demo)
