I doubt they will send someone or a letter demanding money. At worst they will probably just disable your technet account.

The version of W7 on technet is the same RC that was released in April. This means it should be the same in that starting early next year it will start giving you notifications to upgrade to retail and then eventually automatically shutting down after a certain period of time. Getting the same, but when I click on the tab "Product Keys" when in the download area the keys were showing there so I now have 4 keys for Office 2007 Professional Plus (Opsi!) so they might show there for you!

Managed to get a key for Office. It says it's retail does that mean it can only be used on one install of Office?

You don't the key servers are being hammered. We have to pay for everyone to stop trying to generate keys

Please people - make sure you read the license agreement.
By installing this software on your main PC or machine you use for everyday work you are no more legal than somebody who downloaded a warez copy from the net.

Yes, this subscription is so that learners/admins/developers can as such demo the software. I bet people just subscribe and then download the software and use it like retail software.

I have just contacted technet support, there is a problem with keys because a large number are being generated at the moment, they are going to fix this shortly, the subscription is free until 30th september 2009, no additional subscription is required after this however you will not be able to download or access your keys

Good job they provided a "Export Key List to Xml" link in the top right hand corner of the Product Keys page (or you could just copy'n'paste) :cool:
