Anyone use online storage for file access, I have made do with gmail in the past but looking for a free storage site that is web based and can handle a large zip file of around 800mb and be free! Any recommendations are welcome, seems to be a lots of lies on google!! With hidden limits and prices

You could use rapidshare and split the zip files into 200mb parts.

You should make an account too, in case you forget what the links are, then you can use the program they provide to upload a lot of files easily.

what is it for mate?

if it's just few one or two people to download, I'll make you an FTP account on my webspace.

I'd split the files into 25mb chunks with 7zip, then upload them all in filezilla

Mediafire is free and simple to use.

http://www.mediafire.com/

The free service lets you upload files upto 100mb in size the rules are below.

For free accounts, there is currently no time limit on how long uploaded files will be stored as long as you access your account (i.e. login to your account) at least once every 60 days OR at least one of your files is accessed (i.e. downloaded) every 30 days.
